1. Identity and address of the responsible party

In accordance with the Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties ("The Law") and its Regulations ("The Regulations"), we inform you that TCI Latam declares its official address to receive and hear notifications at its offices in the state of Chihuahua, at Prolongación Teófilo Borunda #11201, Col. Labor de Terrazas, Chihuahua, Chih., Mexico, C.P. 31223. The TCI Latam team is responsible for processing personal data collected through event registration on the platform www.tciglobalconference.com/2024, and informs you of the following:

2. Personal data we collect

The personal data collected is intended to keep a record of the people who operate and participate in the TCI Network ecosystem. The registered information will also be used to promote networking among TCI Network participants, with the purpose of exchanging information and creating opportunities.

Confidentiality and protection of this data are guaranteed in accordance with the standards established in the Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties of the United Mexican States.

By registering for the event, you authorize that your personal data may be transferred, published, and processed by the TCI Network team and participants for the purposes outlined in this privacy notice.

If you do not wish for your personal data to be shared with other partner companies, you can request it via email at capitulotcilatam@gmail.com.

To do so, you may fill out the F127 ARCO Rights Exercise form (Section IV, clause B), or request it from the TCI Latam Personal Data Protection Officer at Prolongación Teófilo Borunda No. 11201, Col. Labor de Terrazas, Chihuahua, Chih., Mexico, C.P. 31223.
Refusing to use your personal data for these purposes will not be grounds for denying your participation in the event.

If you do not express your refusal to the data processing for these purposes within 5 days from the date of presentation of this Privacy Notice, it will be understood that you have given your consent.

Additionally, TCI Latam does not require the consent of the data owner for national or international transfers in cases provided by Article 37 of "The Law," which states: "... when provided by a law or treaty to which Mexico is a party, is necessary for medical prevention and/or diagnosis, the provision of health services, is necessary for the signing of a contract in the interest of the owner, for the safeguarding of public interest, when required in a judicial process duly backed, or to maintain a legal relationship between the parties or any other exception provided by The Law or The Regulations or other applicable legislation."

The recipients of the personal data, whether they are handlers or third parties, assume the same responsibilities as the data controller in accordance with the terms defined in this privacy notice. Therefore, the controller must ensure that this notice is made known to them and respected at all times, refraining from performing any unauthorized treatment or transferring data to unauthorized third parties unless derived from a subcontracting authorized by the controller. Furthermore, they must maintain confidentiality, implement security measures, and, upon conclusion of the relationship and/or purpose, delete the data at the controller's request, as indicated in Article 50 of the LFPDPPP regulations and other applicable provisions.

3. Means to limit the use or disclosure of your personal data

To limit the use and disclosure of your personal information, we offer the following means:
Registering on the exclusion list by emailing tcilatam@gmail.com to ensure that your personal data is not processed for marketing, advertising, or commercial promotion purposes by us.

4. Means and procedures to exercise ARCO rights and revoke consent

You can revoke, at any time, the consent you have granted us for the processing of your personal data. You have the right to know what personal data we hold about you, what we use it for, and the conditions of its use (Access); to request correction of your personal information if it is outdated, inaccurate, or incomplete (Rectification); to request the deletion of your information from our records or databases when you consider that it is not being used according to the principles, duties, and obligations provided in the regulations (Cancellation); and to object to the use of your personal data for specific purposes (Opposition). These rights are known as ARCO rights.
To revoke your consent and/or exercise any ARCO rights, you must submit the F127 ARCO Rights Exercise form via email or in person at the TCI Latam office listed in this Privacy Notice.

5. Procedure and requirements for revocation and/or exercise of ARCO rights

a. Submit your request using the F127 form via email to capitulotcilatam@gmail.com, or contact the TCI Latam Personal Data Protection Officer in person at the TCI Latam office, attaching the following information and documentation:
  • I. Full name of the owner, address and/or email to receive the response.
  • II. Official document proving the identity of the owner (a simple printed or electronic copy of your voter ID or passport), or if applicable, legal representative (a simple printed or electronic copy of a public instrument or a simple power of attorney with the signature of the owner, attorney, two witnesses, and their corresponding valid IDs).
  • III. Clear and precise description of the personal data for which you seek to exercise ARCO rights (only for ARCO rights).
  • IV. Any other element or document that facilitates locating the owner's personal data.
b. For requests of rectification, indicate the modifications to be made, providing documentation supporting your request.
c. Upon receiving your request, if the information provided is insufficient or incorrect, or if documents are missing, you will be asked once within five business days to provide the necessary elements or documents to proceed.
d. The owner will have ten business days to respond. If there is no response within this period, the request will be considered not submitted. If the request is addressed, the response period will begin the day after receipt.
e. TCI Latam will notify the owner or legal representative of the adopted resolution within 20 business days from receiving the request, and if applicable, the request will be implemented within 15 business days after notifying the resolution.
The Personal Data Protection Officer, whose contact details are listed below, will process ARCO rights requests and/or consent revocation, as well as address any questions you may have regarding the processing of your personal information:

If the response is unsatisfactory or you have not received it by the deadline, you have 15 business days to request a “Rights Protection” procedure before INAI, whose request and process can be consulted directly on their website at www.inai.org.mx.
You may revoke, at any time, the consent that you have given us for the processing of your personal data.
In case of dissatisfaction with the response or if it is not being applied as stated in the response document, you may request a “Verification Procedure” before INAI, whose process can also be found on their website at www.inai.org.mx.

1. Use of tracking technologies on our websites

TCI Latam operates the website: www.tciglobalconference.com/2024/. Upon accessing and using it, it is important that you review our Privacy Notice in the "Privacy" section located at the bottom of the page, where you can accept and consent to the terms and conditions contained in the Privacy Notice.

Use of Web Beacons: TCI Latam will use IP information (Internet Protocol) to analyze any type of threat to the site https://tciglobalconference.com/2024/, as well as to collect demographic information. However, IP information will never be used to identify the data owner, except in cases of possible fraudulent activity or threats to the portal.
Web Beacons are visible or hidden images inserted into a website or email, used to monitor user behavior. Through them, information such as the originating IP address, browser used, operating system, time of access to the page, and in the case of email, the association of the aforementioned data with the recipient can be obtained.

Use of Cookies: "Technical cookies" are used solely to facilitate access and navigation on our website from any device for greater functionality. However, the information will never be used to identify and/or track the data owner.

2. Modifications to the Privacy Notice

TCI Latam reserves the right to make changes or updates to this Privacy Notice at any time, due to modifications to the applicable legal and regulatory provisions on personal data protection, internal policies, or the purposes and/or processing of personal data. Best Practices

Information and personal data of persons under guardianship and with disabilities: TCI Latam is particularly committed to protecting the personal information of persons under guardianship and those with disabilities in accordance with the law, through specific measures, such as:

  • Obtaining the express and written consent of the legal representative for the processing of personal data through a letter of acknowledgment.
  • Verifying legal representation by requesting a simple printed copy supporting their representation, accompanied by their voter ID or passport, after cross-checking with the original.
  • Implementing and maintaining stricter security measures to ensure the confidentiality of these individuals' data.
